Her husband, Mohit Marwah is the elder son of Sandeep Marwah and Reena Marwah, the sister of Anil Kapoor, Boney Kapoor, and Sanjay Kapoor. Mohit Marwah has acted in Fugly (2014) and Raag Desh (2017).
Her cousin, Lina Ashar also known as Lina Somaia dated actor Jackie Shroff in the 1980s. She did some modeling and attempted to become an actress but after it did not work out for her, she migrated to Australia and became an author.
