Speaking about their breakup Sajid said, "Uss waqt mera character bohot dheela tha. Mai uss waqt ladkiyon ke sath bhaar ghoom raha tha aur bohot jhoot bol raha tha. Maine aise koi badtameezi nahin ki but har ladki ko, 'I love you, will you marry me' bolta tha. (In those days, I had a very bad character and i used to go around with girls and lie to them. On 11th October 2018, Saloni Chopra, his then assistant director and aspiring actress was the first woman to raise her voice against Sajid Khan. She shared through her blog on medium.com about how Sajid used to harass her during the time she was assisting him. She wrote, "When I first started working for Sajid, he said I was a 'director's assistant' and not an 'assistant director' which apparently meant that I'd have to do his work directly. I was okay with that. Slowly, he started calling at really odd hours. If I didn't pick up I was told it didn't matter to him if I was shitting or showering or having sex, when he called — I had to answer. I was petrified. The calls started coming at 12 am and 2 am. He said the industry never sleeps and work happens at all hours… except he wasn't talking about work. He'd ask me what I'm wearing or what I ate. He'd ask me to send him my bikini photos because he needed to know how I looked if I wanted to become an actor." 6 After seeing Saloni's tweet, actress Rachel White known for Ungli (2014) also shared about her uncomfortable encounter with Sajid Khan. She told that Khan called her at his home for auditions and asked to go directly to his bedroom and also asked her to strip for him. She said that she received a call from Sajid Khan's team for a role as a third lead in the movie Humshakals (2014). Later, she gave a call to Sajid to talk about her role in the film, but he talked in a very creepy manner. Rachel said, "The first thing he said to me on call was 'Hello! Bengal Tigress! You Bongs are so hot, man!'. I asked him how did he know I was from Kolkata because I found that very creepy. I thought to myself, 'How does this guy know? I haven't given it out yet.' So, he goes like, 'I checked you on Google darling'." When Rachel interrupted him and said that this call was regarding the film, Sajid asked her to come at his home for the auditions and when she refused the offer saying that she would meet him at his office only, Sajid said that she does not need to worry as his mother would be at home. But when she reached at his home, his mother was not present and Sajid started talking to her about the private parts of her body. She shared, "When he asked me about my b***s, he got off his treadmill and I was standing right in front of the treadmill, leaning on the wall, in the most uncomfortable spot wondering where I am. He was staring directly at my b***s and he was asking me, 'Are they real?' And he poked his finger into my cl****ge. I just moved away from him. I don't know what my reaction should have been. Ideally, I would slap a guy but then you know you have 'Sajid Khan' in front of you. You think, 'Can I do this? Or not?' So, I was standing there, laughing like a buffoon." Sajid did not stop there and asked her to strip for him as there are bikini scenes in the film but she refused to do that and told him that she had already sent her bikini portfolio to him. But he did not stop there and asked her to seduce him. She said, "I was so pissed. I really didn't know what had just happened. I had met the creepiest man in my entire life! This is not a horny person, this is not even about s**. He is just sick and a pervert and you can see it on his face." Rachel then decided to opt out of the film and her role was later offered to Bipasha Basu but even Bipasha was not comfortable on the sets of the film. She told in an interview, "He cracked lewd jokes openly and was pretty rude to all girls, (though) he never ever did the same with me. I had sworn never to work in a humiliating environment for women ever again after Humshakals. Everyone knows I dissociated from the film for exactly this reason. I made it loud and clear." Karishma Upadhyay, a journalist took to her twitter to share the incident of harassment by Sajid Khan while interviewing him in the early 2000s. She wrote on Twitter, "The first time I interviewed Sajid Khan in the early 2000s, he called me to the house he shared with his sister. Through the interview he talked about how large his p**** is & how he knew how to satisfy a woman. I ignored his trash talk & got back on track with my interview. He walked out of the room to show me some DVD from his collection. When he returned, his p**** was out. I got up to leave immediately only to find him blocking the way out. And, he forced his tongue down my throat. I pushed him away and ran out. I cried all the way in the train from Vile Parle to VT. She told that Sajid had asked her, "Would you have sex with a dog if I gave you Rs 100 crore?" Actress Mandana Karimi revealed that Khan made inappropriate remarks when she visited his office to discuss a role in Humshakals (2014). Mandana said, "I was in talks for Sajid Khan's Humshakals at the casting stage. My manager and I visited his office. After meeting producer Vashu Bhagnani, I was in a room with Sajid, when he said, 'Lovely pictures but you need to remove your clothes. If I like what I see, you might get the part." 7 Actress Simran Suri said that Sajid called her at his house to discuss regarding a role in his film Himmatwala (2013) and asked her to strip. When she refused, he started shouting at her saying, "I am a director. I will have to see your body." and pulled down her top. She shouted back at him and immediately left his house. Sherlyn Chopra alleged that Sajid Khan had asked her to touch his private parts. "When I had met him in April 2005, a few days after my father's demise, he had taken his p**** out of his pants and had asked me to feel it.
