Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia is an Indian actress, model & lawyer known for Choti Sarrdaarni (2019-2022), Bigg Boss 16 (2022) and Who Said Boys Can't Wear Make Up (2018).
Nimrit was born on 11th December 1994 in a Sikh Khatri family to Surpal Singh Ahluwalia and his wife Inderpreet Kaur Ahluwalia in New Delhi, India. She also has a younger brother named Arpit Singh Ahluwalia, who is working as an UX Designer in Philadelphia, USA.
Her father, Surpal Singh Ahluwalia is an Army Officer and her mother, Inderpreet Kaur Ahluwalia is a School Principal.
She completed her schooling from St. Mark's Senior Secondary School in Meera Bagh, New Delhi and later graduated with a degree in law from the Army Institute of Law in Mohali. Nimrit also studied acting at the Atelier School of Dramatic Arts, New Delhi.
She was one of the finalists of FBB Campus Princess in the 2018 Patiala auditions and was declared as the winner of the 9th edition of 'The Tiara Queen' by TGPC on 21st February 2018. The finale was held at The Tiara Institute, Pune.
In 2018, she won the Femina Miss Manipur title and was also placed in the top 12 of Femina Miss India beauty pageant.
In July 2018, Ahluwalia was featured in the music video of the song 'Masstaani' by B Praak.
She made her acting debut in the television series Choti Sarrdaarni (2019-2022) in which she played the dual roles of Meher Kaur Dhillon and Seher Kaur Gill.
In January 2019, she appeared in the music video of the song 'Serious' by Bannet Dosanjh.
She is also a trained Jazz dancer and loves swimming during her free time.
