Digangana Suryavanshi is an Indian actress and author known for playing the role of Veera Baldev Singh in the TV series Ek Veer Ki Ardaas...Veera (2013-2015). She was born on October 15, 1997 to Neeraj Suryavanshi and Sarita Suryavanshi in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh. Digangana is the only child of her parents and she does not have any siblings.
She completed her schooling from St. Xavier's High School, Mumbai and then graduated with a degree in arts from Mithibai College, Mumbai.
She scored 77% marks in her HSC exams. 2
Digangana started her acting career as a child artist in Kya Haadsa Kya Haqeeqat (2002).
After playing supporting roles in tv shows like Shakuntala (2009), Ruk Jaana Nahin (2011) and Qubool Hai (2012), She got her big break in Ek Veer Ki Ardaas...Veera (2013-2015) playing the lead role of Veera Baldev Singh in the show.
In 2015, she became the youngest celebrity contestant to participate in the reality show "Bigg Boss 9". She was just 17 years old.
She made her bollywood debut with FryDay (2018) & Jalebi (2018). Both the films were released on the same day on October 12, 2018.
In 2019, She starred in a leading role opposite Govinda in the movie "Rangeela Raja".
She started writing songs at the age of 5 years. Her first book of English lyrics titled "Waves - the Endless Emotion" was published when she was just 15 years old. After that she published her first novel - Nixie the Mermaid and the Power of Love.
Digangana wrote, composed and sang a song "I'm missing you" when she was 14. She dedicated the song to her maternal grandmother.
