Yash Thakur is an Indian cricketer who plays as a medium-fast bowler for Vidarbha in domestic cricket. Thakur was born on 28th December 1998 to Ravi Thakur and his wife Kajal Thakur in Kolkata, West Bengal. He also has an elder sister named Shweta Thakur.
His father, Ravi Thakur is the owner of Sai Leela Travels, a travel agency in Nagpur, Maharashtra.
His sister, Shweta Thakur got married to Shubham Golani on 9th December 2020.
He made his List A debut for Vidarbha against Punjab in the Vijay Hazare Trophy at Delhi on 25 February 2017 and made his first-class debut for Vidarbha against Chhattisgarh in the Ranji Trophy at Raipur on 28 November 2018. 6 7
Thakur made his T20 debut for Vidarbha against Himachal Pradesh in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy at Surat on 21 February 2019. He took 2 wickets for 32 runs in his 4 overs as Vidarbha won by 3 wickets. 8
