Vivrant Sharma (born 30 October 1999) is an Indian cricketer who plays as a batting allrounder for Jammu & Kashmir in domestic cricket. He is an aggressive left-handed opener and bowls legspin.
His father, Sushil Sharma is a Managing Director at Western Leo Chemicals which a manufacturer of Chemicals, Soaps and Detergents.
His elder brother, Vikrant Sharma is a Managing Director at Tharmat Sales Corporation which deals with all sorts of Acids, Chemicals, Hardcokes & Nylon Tops.
Sharma made his List A debut for Jammu & Kashmir against Saurashtra in the Vijay Hazare Trophy at Kolkata on 21 February 2021. He opened the batting for J&K and scored 66 runs in 82 balls and also took 2 wickets but J&K lost the match by 3 wickets. [8]
Vivrant made his T20 debut for J&K against Andhra Pradesh in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy at Vadodara on 4 November 2021. [9]
He made his first-class debut for J&K against Madhya Pradesh in the Ranji Trophy at Jammu on 13 December 2022. [10]
Vivrant Sharma was bought by Sunrisers Hyderabad for Rs 2.6 Crores, 13 times his base price of Rs 20 Lakh in the IPL mini-auction 2022. He was a net bowler with Sunrisers in 2021-22 IPL, where he also impressed with his ability with the bat.
