Sophie Choudry also known as Sophie Chaudhary is a British Singer, Actress, Model and a former MTV India VJ. She was born on February 8, 1983 in Manchester, England, United Kingdom. She has one elder brother named Faisal Choudry.
Her father named her Sophia Choudry as he was a big fan of Sophia Loren, however she now goes by the name Sophie Choudry.
She learned western classical music from Helena Shenel and indian classical music from Pandit Ashkaran Sharma.
Sophie was launched by the acclaimed music director Biddu Appaiah when she was just 13-years old.
She started her career as a Pop Singer with her all-female band Sansara. Shinata Patel and Monica Nath were the other members of the band. Their music of their first album "Yeh Dil Sun Raha Hai" was released in December 1999.
In 2003, she moved to Mumbai and became a VJ for MTV India and started hosting MTV Loveline.
She is a gold medalist from the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art.
She is the co-owner of FitTOX & Koffitox.
Sophie is the ambassador of "British Asian Trust".
She has a pet Shih Tzu puppy and she named her Tia Choudry.
