He was born on 10 August 1997 in Nangal, Punjab, India to Avtar Singh and Jagjeet Kaur, both professors.
Shubh started his music journey in 2021 with the single ‘Don’t Look’ with Irman Thiara. However, he shot to overnight fame and became a household name with his songs ‘We Rollin’, ‘Elevated’ and ‘Offshore’ and they still trend on Instagram reels.

During the year 2022, Shubh released three singles: ‘No Love’, ‘Baller’, and ‘Her’.
In 2023, Shubh released his debut studio album ‘Still Rollin’ containing 6 tracks: ‘The Flow – Outro’, ‘Dior’, ‘Ruthless’, ‘OG’, ‘Cheques’, ‘Ice’, and ‘Still Rollin’.

On 23 March 2023, Shubh shared a distorted map of India that did not include the union territory of Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab and North-eastern states on his Instagram story with the caption “Pray for Punjab”, attracting criticism from several people including actress Kangana Ranaut. Kangana wrote, “Yeh Khalistani Virus Wali bimariwahan kaafi Punjabi celebrities ko pakdi hue hai…beheading India in its legal consequences…GOI must make strong laws against such crirminals…do din jail ki hawa khilake, inke dimaagke Khalistan mein answer bhat do, fillin the blanks kardo inn sabka.

This comes after the Punjab Police launched a massive manhunt to arrest self-proclaimed Sikh preacher Amritpal Singh and his associates.

Following the criticism, Shubh deleted the story and replaced it with a new story which had no photo but “Pray for Punjab” written on it. 1

On 24 April 2023, Anushka Sharma took to Instagram and shared a video of herself and Virat Kohli shaking a leg on Shubh’s song “Elevated” at the gym.
In May 2023, YouTube took down his songs ‘Offshore’ and ‘Dior’ following a copyright claim by Shubh’s former music producer Dilmanjot Singh Thiara. “This video is no longer available due to a copyright claim by Dilmanjot Singh Thiara,” a message reads on YouTube.

In September 2023, Shubh was scheduled to perform in India across 12 cities in his first-ever India tour, including Bengaluru, Hyderabad, New Delhi, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Ludhiana, Chandigarh, Gurgaon, Pune, Jaipur, and Kolkata over the next two months but his tour in India was canceled after the protests led by Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM), the youth wing of BJP. Virat Kohli, who had some time back mentioned Shubh as his favorite artist also unfollowed him on Instagram and consumer electronics brand BOAT withdrew its sponsorship of his India tour. 2
