Shahida Rehman Malik is the second eldest sister of actress Waheeda Rehman. Zahida Rehman and Sayeeda Rehman are the other two sisters. Shahida is 7 years elder to Waheeda.
She is a homemaker and resides in Kumbakonam, Tamil Nadu.
Her father was Mohammad Abdul Rehman who worked as a district commissioner and her mother was Mumtaz Begum.
Their father passed away in 1951. Zahida & Shahida were already married at that time. Mother Mumtaz Begum passed away in 1957.
Their father was transferred constantly, and this affected the studies of all 4 sisters. Zahida and Shahida managed to study up to Class 8, but Sayeeda and Waheeda didn’t get even that far.
There is still a great bonding between all the four sisters.
