Zahida Rehman is the eldest sister of actress Waheeda Rehman. Shahida Rehman Malik and Sayeeda Rehman are the other two sisters. Zahida migrated to Pakistan with her in-laws after the partition of india. She has now re-located back to India.

Her father was Mohammad Abdul Rehman who worked as a district commissioner and her mother was Mumtaz Begum.

Her father passed away in 1951. Zahida & Shahida were already married at that time.

Their father was transferred constantly, and this affected the studies of all 4 sisters. Zahida and Shahida managed to study up to Class 8, but Sayeeda and Waheeda didn’t get even that far.

There is still a great bonding between all the four sisters.
