Sakshi Pant is the elder sister of Indian cricketer Rishabh Pant. She is quite popular on social media, boasting over 160k followers on Instagram. 1
Sakshi was born on 24th September 1995 into a middle-class Kumauni Brahmin Hindu family to Rajender Pant and his wife Saroj Pant in Roorkee, Uttarakhand, India. She is two years older than her brother, Rishabh Pant. 2
Her father, Rajender Pant also played cricket at the university level. He passed away on 5 April 2017 at the age of 53 at his home in Roorkee due to a cardiac arrest. 3
She did her schooling at St. Gabriel’s Academy in Roorkee, Uttarakhand, India, and then did Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Human resource management from Uttarakhand Technical University and then did Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Marketing at Graphic Era (Deemed to be University) in Dehradun, Uttarakhand. In 2020, she relocated to the United Kingdom to pursue a Master of Science (MSc) in Project Management at the University of Hertfordshire. 4
She used to be overweight but lost over 19 kgs of weight in just seven months in 2019 and posted her transformation pictures on social media. 5
