Parth Bhut entered the record books by taking 12 wickets against the Rest of India in the 2023 Irani Cup final to become the sixth bowler after Srinivas Venkataraghavan (1969), Gopal Sharma (1988), Anil Kumble (1992), Sairaj Bahutule (1997), and Dodda Ganesh (1996) to take two fifers in an Irani Cup match. After taking 5 wickets in the 1st innings, the left-arm spinner again led Saurashtra’s fightback with his career-best figures of seven for 53 in the second innings to restrict RoI for 160.
