Facts
Vidya Pillai is 10 time women's national snooker champion.
She has B.Sc. degree in Visual Communication from Loyola College, Chennai.
She did Post-Graduate Diploma in Communication and Management at the National Institute of Sales, New Delhi.
Vidya Pillai credits former Indian cricketer Hemang Badani for introducing her to the sport, and the late national billiards champion, TG Kamala Devi, for inspiring her.
She met her husband, Tilak Raj on a blind date that was set up by one Tilak's cousins at the age of 32. They got engaged in less than two-and-a-half months. 2
Her son, Surya also aspires to be a snooker champ, just like his mother.
