Dr. Samanta Dhulipala is a radiologist best known for being the younger sister of actress Sobhita Dhulipala. She is married to Dr. Sahil Gupta.
She was born on 2 December 1995 into a Telugu Brahmin family to Venugopala Rao Dhulipala, a chief engineer (Marine) with the Merchant Navy, and his wife Santha Kamakshi Dhulipala, a school teacher in the primary wing at GVMC (Greater Visakha Municipal Corporation). ¹
Samanta aspired to become a teacher. When she was in her teens, she used to visit her mother's school and took classes for primary school kids. ²
She did her initial schooling at the Timpany Senior Secondary School in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, and later studied at Ryan International School in Mumbai, Maharashtra. ³
Samanta Dhulipala completed her MBBS from Dr. D. Y. Patil Medical College, Hospital & Research Centre, Pune in 2019 and did her MD in Radiology from the same college in 2023. She has done her fellowship in Maternal-fetal medicine at ARMC AEGiS Hospital in Perintalmanna, Kerala. ⁴
Samanta also did modeling during her college days and was crowned "Miss Symbhav 2017" at Symbhav, Symbiosis Law School, Pune. ⁵
