She was born on 28 August 1982 to Wilbur Rimes and Belinda Butler Rimes in Jackson, Mississippi, United States, and was raised in Garland, Texas at an apartment complex named Pecan Knoll. LeAnn is the only child of her parents and does not have any siblings. 5
Her parents, Wilbur Rimes and Belinda Butler got divorced in 1997. After the divorce, Wilbur Rimes got married to Vicki Rimes, and Belinda Butler got married to Ted Miller.

The couple got married on 23rd February 2002, when Rimes was only 19 and Sheremet was 21 in a church ceremony at Perkins Chapel in Dallas, Texas. Both of them were married at that time, Rimes was married to dancer Dean Sheremet and Cibrian was married to TV star Brandi Glanville and had 2 sons, Mason Cibrian and Jake Cibrian together. The couple got engaged on Christmas Eve in 2010. Eddie and LeAnn tied the knot on 22 April 2011 in a private ceremony in California. 14
