Liouba Stoupakova is a russian-born actress, model & sculptor known for Elle fait fondre la glace (2004). She was formerly married to French-American billionaire businessman Alec Wildenstein.
She was born on 20th April 1980 in Russia.
She was the member of the Union of Associations for Cultural Exchange between the USSR and Foreign Countries from 1989 to 1991.
Liouba did a diploma in French Language ​​and Civilization with specialization in political science at the French University College in Moscow and later earned her Master's degree in French Law from the same college in 1994. Then, she headed for a Postgraduate course in Business Law at the University of Paris. She also has an International Lawyer degree with honors from Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO). 1
She earned her first pocket money as a bilingual tourist guide at the Museum of Fine Arts in Pushkin due to her mastery in the French language.
She began her career as a model posing for several Russian fashion companies.
Liouba Stoupakova got married to Alec Wildenstein on 15th June 2000 and they were married until the death of Alec Wildenstein on 18th February 2008 due to Prostate cancer. 2
In 2004, Liouba starred in the french film 'Elle fait fondre la glace' opposite Ron Padova. She was paid €8,000 for acting in the film.
After Alec's death, she got married to Johnson Lee in 2010 and changed her name to Liouba Lee. She has three kids with Johnson Lee.
Liouba Stoupakova, her step-son Alec Wildenstein Jr. and her former brother-in-law Guy Wildenstein are facing the charges of tax fraud since late 2016. In July 2008, a court in France acquit the family of the charges citing shortcomings in the investigation and stating that there were not sufficient evidence to show that family members knowingly committed fraud but in January 2021, France's highest court, the Cour de cassation voided the 2018 decision to acquit the Wildenstein family and ordered a retrial of the allegations. 3
She is passionate about art and more particularly, sculpture. Alec introduced her to Rosy Lamb, an American artist, who agreed to gave her lessons in drawing, oil painting, and work with live models. She has also posed for painters and sculptors, including Andrei Gorski-Chernichev, Tatiana Nazarenko and Mikhail Solomatine. 4
