She did her Bachelors & Masters in English Literature from Lady Shri Ram College for Women, New Delhi and during this time joined Arvind Gaur's Asmita theatre group. | |

She tweeted, "I worry incessantly for my mother who is battling cancer in the imidst of covid. But when I think of the families and cancer patients in the middle of war, my brain just ceases to comprehend." "Nothing is uglier than war. Mothers don't give life for war," she added.
