Aparajita Adhya also known as Aparajita Auddy is a renowned bengali film and television actress. Aparajita made her bollywood debut in Meri Pyaari Bindu (2017). She played the role of Ayushmann Khurana's mother in the movie.
She was born on February 22, 1978 in Kolkata, West Bengal, India.
Aparajita and Atanu Hazra met during a television serial shoot where Atanu was also working as a sound engineer.
Aparajita Adhya got married to Atanu Hazra on July 26, 1997 when she was only 19 years old. Aparajita's parents didn't wanted her to get married to Atanu because there is a age difference of 15 years between them so they decided to get married without their consent. Atanu's family, however, immediately accepted Aparajita.
She won the Filmfare award (East) for the best actress in a supporting role for Praktan (2016).
Madhumita Sarcar played the role of Aparajita Adhya's daughter in Cheeni (2020). The story of the movie was about how the relationship evolves between a Mother and Daughter when forced to come together under unusual personal circumstances.
