Haril Shukla is a Documentary Filmmaker known for being the husband of actress Supriya Raina Shukla and father of Jhanak Shukla. He is currently working as a Creative Director in his own production house, named High Band Takes.
Haril Shukla got married to actress Supriya Raina on 11 December 1994. They have 2 daughters, Jhanak Shukla and Damia Shukla.
Daughter Jhanak Shukla played the role of 'Karishma' in Karishma Kaa Karishma (2003) & 'Gia Kapur' in the bollywood movie Kal Ho Na Ho (2003).
He did his schooling from Kendriya Vidyalaya, R.K. Puram & Kendriya Vidyalaya, IIT Campus in New Delhi and later graduated with Bachelor's degree in Commerce from Zakir Husain Delhi College, New Delhi.
He worked as a Freelance Production Controller from 1993 to 1994. During this tenure he worked on TV serials 'Ahsaas' 3 & 'Dharti Ka Lal' 4 for Doordarshan and also worked on several telefilms and AD films for different banners and producers.
Shukla worked at Television Eighteen India Ltd. as Head of Production from 1995 to 1998. During this tenure he worked on TV serials 'Bhanwar' for Sony TV, 'Vakalat' for Zee TV and 'Akaanksha' for EL TV. He also produced a documentary film 'Apne Sapne' for the Ministry of Welfare govt. of India.
He worked at Ventures Direct Television, Mumbai from 1999 to 2001. During this tenure he worked on 'Andaaz Aapka', 'Manzil Anjaani' & 'Fashion Square' for Doordarshan and 'Fashion Bazaar', 'Jee Aaya Nu' & 'News Round Up' for Lashkara Channel.
He worked as a Freelance director & Executive producer on various projects between 2002 to 2008. During this tenure he directed 'Kashmiriyat - The Pride' for Doordarshan, 'Temples of Learning' for DD Bharti & 'Aastha' for DD Bharti. He also worked as a Production head for game show 'Deal Ya No Deal', Creative executive producer on TV Serial 'Wapsi Aman Ki', Executive producer on TV Serial 'Hum Do Hai Naa', Executive producer on TV Serial 'Chanakya Neeti'.
Haril worked as a Co-Producer & Director for Creative Channel from 2008 to 2011. During this tenure he directed a TV Serial 'Jeet Jaayengey Hum' for Ministry of Consumer Affairs Govt. of India & also worked as a Project Head for a TV Serial 'Papa' for Doordarshan.
He worked as a Subject Matter Expert (Direction) at the Institute of Creative Excellence (ICE), a Leading Film Institute owned by Balaji Telefilms Limited from 2011 to 2014.
He worked as a Freelance director & Media Consultant for 'Creative Channel' from 2014 to 2018. During this tenure he worked on 6 documentaries on different labs of CSIR for Govt. of India, 2 documentaries on 'Manav Shrinkhala' in Bihar, a documentary on PMGSY scheme in Gujarat, a documentary on NRLM scheme in Odisha, a documentary on SAGY scheme in Uttar Pradesh, a documentary on RSETI scheme for ministry of rural development, a documentary on NRLM scheme in Kerala & a documentary on DDUGKY scheme in Maharashtra.
Haril Shukla directed a short film U-Turn (2019). The film was written by his wife Supriya Shukla & starring Sriti Jha, Aman Vasishth, Nupur Joshi and Supriya Shukla. In the same year he also directed 2 more short films: Maa Hoon Main (2019) & Bol Ke Lab Azaad Hain Tere (2019).

He also acted in a Rajasthani movie 'Vishesh' directed by GhanShyam Singh Odint and starring Magha Ram Odint (MaghRaj Luhar). The film is yet to be released.
