Happy Ranajit is an Indian actor, playwright, and director known for Sandeep Bhaiya (2023), Farzi (2023), Dahan: Raakan Ka Rahasya (2022), and B.A. Pass (2012).

He was born on 6 July 1983 in Jeypore, Odisha, India. After completing his master’s in science, he joined the National School of Drama (NSD) and completed his degree with a specialization in acting in 2008. 1
He has acted in more than 100 Plays under eminent directors like Amal Allana, Ram Gopal Bajaj, Tripurari Sharma, Anuradha Kapur, Anamika Haksar, Deepa Mehta, Abhilash Pillai, Powel Mischinwich and David Freeman. 1

Apart from acting, he also conducts acting workshops, writes and directs plays. He is also a guest faculty at NSD, Delhi, and an actor trainer at Anupam Kher‘s Actor Prepares, Mumbai. 2

Happy Ranajit received critical appreciation for his performance in Henrik Ibsen’s play Hedda Gabler at the Delhi Ibsen Festival in 2009 and was awarded the Best Actor Award for his performance in “Roop Aroop” at the Mahindra Excellence in Theatre Awards (META) in 2010. 4
He is working at Kingdom of Dreams, Gurgaon as an actor in the play “Zangoora” and has done more than 1000 shows of it. 3

He made his bollywood debut with a cameo role in B.A. Pass (2012) and was later seen in Omerta (2017) and Murder on the Road to Kathmandu (2018).
