Payal Rohatgi is an Indian actress who worked in hindi movies. She was born on November 9, 1984 in a gujarati family to Shashank Rohatgi, a chemical engineer and Veena Rohatgi, a teacher in Banjara Hills, Hyderabad, Telangana, India. She also has a brother Gaurav Rohatgi.
She completed her schooling from Udgam School, Ahmedabad, Gujarat and later earned a degree in computer engineering from Lalbhai Dalpatbhai College of Engineering, Ahmedabad, Gujarat.
In 2000, she participated in the Femina Miss India pageant with Priyanka Chopra, Lara Dutta and Dia Mirza and won the title of "Miss India Tourism". Later she represented india at Supermodel Miss Tourism World and won the title.
She made her acting debut with Yeh kya ho raha hai (2002).
In 2008, she participated in Bigg Boss as a contestant.
In 2012, Payal Rohatgi alleged that she was sexually harassed by director Dibakar Banerjee and Anurag Kashyap.
