However, Sanju was smitten by Manyata’s simplicity, and they started dating in 2005. After a 2-year courtship, the couple registered their marriage on 7 February 2008 at Taj Exotica in Goa under the Special Marriage Act. This was followed by a wedding ceremony according to Hindu rituals on 11 February 2008 at Dutt’s close friend Pradeep Sinha’s Versova home at Badrinath Towers. Manyata is Sanjay Dutt’s third wife; he was previously married to the late actress Richa Sharma and model Rhea Pillai. He also has a daughter named Trishala from his marriage to Richa Sharma.
