Aruna Shields is a former british actress of Anglo Indian heritage known for playing the role of Maya in action thriller Prince (2010). She is now a therapist and executive coach based in Los Angeles who practices Transcendental Meditation (TM).
She was born on August 6, 1978 in London, United Kingdom. Her family name is Lukkur Srinivasa-Murthy Aruna.
She completed her schooling from Durham Boarding School, Durham, England. After that she did BA (hons) in Journalism at Central Saint Martins, London.
Aruna learned acting at Guildhall School of Music and Drama, London.
She made her bollywood debut in 2010 in the action thriller "Prince" opposite Vivek Oberoi. Aruna performed all her own stunts including motorbike bungee jumps. Her song "Tere Liye" from the movie currently has over 100 million views on YouTube. ³
